Our website, https://www.eos-technologie.com (hereinafter: “the website”), uses cookies and other related technologies (for convenience all technologies are referred to as “cookies”). Cookies may also be placed by third parties we have engaged. The document below informs you about the use of cookies on our website.

2. What are cookies?

A cookie is a small simple file that is sent along with pages of this website and stored by your browser on the hard drive of your computer or another device. The information stored therein may be returned to our servers or to the servers of the relevant third parties during a subsequent visit.

3. Cookies we use

3.1 Technical or functional cookies

These cookies are required for the website to work and do not require your consent:

• eos_consent: stores your cookie preferences (duration: 6 months).
• eos_form: session cookie set only on pages containing a form, to protect submissions against abuse (deleted when the browser is closed).

3.2 Audience measurement (statistics) cookies

If you accept them (“Statistics” category), we use Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland), to compile visit statistics: pages viewed, visit duration, traffic source (search engine, link, direct access), device and browser type, approximate country or region. These measurements are only used to improve the website; they are not used for advertising.

• _ga: distinguishes visitors using a random identifier (duration: 13 months).
• _ga_49PE8Q7827: keeps the state of the current visit (duration: 13 months).

Until you give your consent, no Google Analytics script is loaded and none of these cookies is placed. Google Analytics 4 does not record your IP address, and Google’s advertising features (Google Signals, ad personalisation) are disabled. Data is kept for a maximum of 14 months in Google Analytics, then deleted. It may be transferred to the United States to Google LLC, which is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (European Commission adequacy decision of 10 July 2023). Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act). You can withdraw it at any time using the “Manage consent” button: Google Analytics cookies are then deleted and no further measurement takes place.

3.3 Marketing cookies / third-party content

YouTube videos and the Google Maps map embedded on the website are only loaded after you have accepted the “Marketing” category. These services may then place their own cookies and process some data (IP address, interactions).

4. Consent

When you visit our website for the first time, a pop-up presents these cookie categories. You can accept, deny or customise your choices; denying is as easy as accepting and has no impact on your browsing. Without a choice on your part, no cookie requiring consent is placed. Your choice is kept for 6 months, after which you are asked again. You can change it at any time using the “Manage consent” button at the bottom of every page.

5. Enabling, disabling and deleting cookies

You can use your internet browser to automatically or manually delete cookies, or to be notified each time a cookie is placed. Please refer to the “Help” section of your browser for more information.
